Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd, known for its Joy e-bike and Joy e-rik brands, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ampvolts Ltd (formerly Quest Softech). The goal of this partnership is to enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure both in India and globally.

Building a Green Mobility Ecosystem

The collaboration aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem that supports sustainable transportation solutions. Both companies will combine their strengths to meet the growing demand for green mobility options.

Wardwizard’s Role in the Partnership

Wardwizard Innovations will lead the identification of strategic locations for EV charging stations. The company will also provide financial and logistical support to speed up the development of a reliable EV infrastructure.

Ampvolts’ Contribution

Ampvolts will supply the EV charging equipment, including chargers and necessary hardware. The company will also offer a customised Charging Management System (CMS) to enable smooth payment processing and monitor charging stations. Additionally, Ampvolts will extend its Battery as a Service (BaaS) offering to Wardwizard's B2B clients, ensuring scalable energy solutions.

Statements from the team

Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations, emphasized that the partnership is a significant step in creating a sustainable EV ecosystem. He highlighted Ampvolts' expertise in customized charging solutions, which will enhance the EV charging experience for customers.

Vipul Chauhan, Managing Director of Ampvolts, expressed that Wardwizard's experience in electric vehicle manufacturing and its market presence will help Ampvolts reach a larger audience. He believes the partnership will allow both companies to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly mobility solutions.

Joy e-rik three-wheelers

The Joy e-Rickshaw is powered by a Lithium Ion battery. The Joy e-Rickshaw comes with convenient features like front and rear modes for easy maneuvering, a parking brake for added safety, and a fire extinguisher for emergencies. It also includes a USB port to charge devices on the go, a reverse buzzer for enhanced safety, and a digital cluster that provides real-time vehicle data.
