The VEDIC-Mahindra Skill Development Centre, established through a collaboration between the Vidarbha Defence Industries Association, Yantra India, and Mahindra Tractors, aims to address the challenges faced by rural youth in the Vidarbha region. This centre focuses on promoting skill development to create job opportunities and improve livelihoods.

Inauguration Ceremony

The VEDIC-Mahindra Skill Development Centre was inaugurated at the Ordnance Factory in Ambajhari. The ceremony was attended by Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways, who praised the initiative for its potential to transform rural lives.

Focus on Skill Development

Mahindra Tractors will bring its industry expertise in tractors and farm machinery to the centre. The primary goal is to equip rural youth from the Vidarbha region with essential skills for careers in the tractor and farm machinery ecosystem. This includes roles in sales and service at dealership locations and assembly roles at manufacturing plants.

Mahindra Tractors has designed a unique curriculum that covers various aspects of tractor service, sales, and assembly. The curriculum will be delivered by expert trainers, ensuring students receive high-quality education and hands-on experience.
