Key Highlights:
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is gearing up to boost public transport in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) region. A new bus route connecting Jewar Airport to Greater Noida’s Pari Chowk has been announced, aiming to ease travel for residents and airport passengers. This move is part of a wider strategy to improve transportation and support rapid growth in the area.
Jewar Airport to Pari Chowk: Key New Route
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, UPSRTC has identified three new bus routes within the YEIDA region. Among them, the 42-kilometre Jewar-Pari Chowk corridor is expected to make the most impact. Once operational, it will improve travel convenience for those commuting between the upcoming international airport and central parts of Greater Noida.
Although a limited bus service has existed since 2023, the proposed plan will introduce expanded coverage and better frequency. This will manage the increasing movement of passengers and residents alike.
Two Additional Routes Finalized
Alongside the Jewar-Greater Noida service, two other routes have also been cleared:
These additions will help people reach key spots such as Pari Chowk, the District Magistrate’s office, Jagat Farm, Surajpur, and nearby villages.
Supporting Growth in a Developing Region
The YEIDA region has been witnessing fast-paced growth in both the industrial and housing sectors. With new factories, commercial spaces, and residential complexes emerging, the need for a reliable and efficient public transport system has never been greater. The upcoming bus routes are designed to match this demand, offering residents more commuting options. The bus services will also be a boon for students attending Gautam Buddha University and others who travel daily to educational and commercial centers.
Plans for Electric Bus Services
Looking ahead, authorities are also working on launching an electric bus service between Delhi and Jewar Airport. This initiative will not only promote sustainable transportation but also reduce congestion on major routes. Additionally, two more bus routes are in the pipeline, promising even better coverage across the region.

The planned expansion of UPSRTC’s services in the YEIDA region reflects a practical approach to infrastructure development. With Jewar Airport set to become a major travel hub, timely investment in public transport will improve mobility, reduce traffic stress, and support economic activity. These new routes add convenience to local people's travel.
