Tata Motors, a global leader in commercial vehicles, has officially entered the Egyptian market. The company has partnered with MM Group for Industry and International Trade (MTI), one of Egypt’s top distribution companies. This partnership aims to bring advanced and reliable mobility solutions to meet the increasing demand across the cargo and passenger transport sectors in Egypt.
To support Egypt’s growing infrastructure and transportation needs, Tata Motors has launched a wide range of commercial vehicles. The newly introduced models include:
Tata Xenon – a reliable pickup designed for utility and transport
Tata Ultra T.7 and Ultra T.9 – efficient light trucks built for city and inter-city transport
Tata Prima 3328.K – ideal for heavy-duty applications like construction
Tata Prima 4438.S and Prima 6038.S – high-performance tractor-trailers for long hauls
Tata LP 613 – a bus designed for mass mobility and public transport
These vehicles are designed to offer strong performance, fuel efficiency, and high uptime, helping businesses increase productivity and profitability.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Asif Shamim, Head of International Business at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, emphasized the importance of Egypt as a key market. He said,
“Egypt is a pivotal market for Tata Motors, driven by its expanding infrastructure and the growing demand for reliable mobility solutions.”
He added that Tata Motors brings decades of experience and is committed to offering high-quality, future-ready commercial vehicles tailored to local needs. The company also plans to introduce more models regularly to keep up with customer requirements.
Mr. Khaled Mahmoud, CEO of MTI, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating,
“With this launch, we are bringing trusted solutions catering to diverse applications and demanding conditions. Our focus will be on ensuring a superior ownership experience through MTI’s robust after-sales network.”
MTI will support Tata Motors vehicles with 7 strategically located service centers across Egypt. These touchpoints will make it easier for customers to access affordable spare parts and timely maintenance services.
Tata Motors is offering value-added services to ensure worry-free ownership. These include:
Extended warranty of up to 5 years or 150,000 km on the Tata Xenon and Ultra range
Scheduled Service Package for predictable maintenance
Nationwide service access through MTI’s network
These services are designed to keep the vehicles running efficiently, reduce downtime, and improve overall lifecycle value for customers.
Tata Motors sells commercial vehicles in over 40 countries, with a product range that spans:
Sub-1-tonne to 60-tonne cargo vehicles
9-seater to 71-seater buses
