Tata Motors has introduced the Ace Pro, a new four-wheel mini-truck in India priced starting at ₹3.99 lakh. This makes it the most affordable vehicle in its category in India. The Ace Pro includes a crash-tested cabin that meets safety standards, comfortable seating, and a digital instrument cluster. Customers can also opt for an infotainment system.

Variants of Tata Ace Pro

The Ace Pro comes in three versions to suit different needs:

Ace Pro Petrol variant: Powered by a 694cc engine delivering 30 bhp and 55 Nm torque.

Ace Pro Bi-fuel variant: Runs on both CNG and petrol, offering 26 bhp and 51 Nm in CNG mode, plus a 5-liter petrol backup tank.

Ace Pro EV: Features a 38 bhp motor with 104 Nm torque, capable of traveling up to 155 km on a single charge. The electric motor and battery have IP67 ratings, ensuring durability.

Specifications of Tata Ace Pro

The Ace Pro mini-truck can carry up to 750 kg on its 6.5-foot-long deck. It comes with factory-fitted body options like half-deck or flatbed, making it adaptable for various uses such as container transport, municipal services, or refrigerated goods. Its strong chassis is designed to handle tough loads safely. The company aims to attract a new generation of small business owners and entrepreneurs with this launch.

Smart Features

It is connected with Tata Motors’ Fleet Edge platform, which helps monitor vehicle health, driver behavior, and maintenance needs in real-time. Drivers get assistance with gear shifting and reversing, making it easier to navigate city streets and rural roads.

Easy Booking and After-Sales Support

The mini-truck is available for booking at over 1,250 Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships across India, and also online through the FleetVerse platform. Tata Motors has tied up with banks and finance companies to offer quick loans and flexible EMI options. After-sales support includes more than 2,500 service centers and spare parts outlets, plus special service programs for electric versions.

Leadership insights: 

Tata Motors Executive Director Girish Wagh said the original Tata Ace transformed cargo transportation in India by supporting over 25 lakh entrepreneurs. The Ace Pro is designed to continue this legacy for today’s small business owners.

Pinaki Haldar, Business Head for Small Commercial Vehicles, highlighted the extensive testing the Ace Pro underwent across different terrains and weather conditions to ensure reliability.
