In 2013, women made up only 1.5% of Swaraj’s workforce. By 2024, this number has risen to over 10%, marking a significant transformation.   • Limited Female Enrollment in Technical Trades: In Punjab’s ITIs, only 400 out of 17,000 students are women pursuing technical courses like diesel mechanics and machining.

  • Contractual Employment: A significant portion of women in manufacturing hold contractual positions, limiting long-term career growth. Addressing this requires systemic policy changes and organizational efforts.
