ZF opened its sixth production unit in India in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, in February. The new manufacturing facility, which is phase I of the project, spans 44.08 acres and contains 7200 square metres. It shows ZF's cutting-edge production technologies.

Expansion Plans

ZF believes the new facility will lead the way in creating new ideas for making vehicles safer, more automated, connected, and electric. This will help improve transportation and increase exports while becoming a top place for making things efficiently.

To fulfill the increased demand from customers, ZF wants to boost its staff at the Oragadam facility over the next decade and would hire mostly women at this site, the firm has announced.
