NOVA connects 6,000+ bus operators with verified vendors.
Offers 20–40% discounts on key operational products.
Integrated with redPro for analytics and insights.
Solves sourcing, quality, and payment challenges.
Expands redBus’s B2B presence beyond ticketing.
India’s leading online bus ticketing platform, redBus, has launched NOVA, the country’s first integrated B2B marketplace for the intercity bus industry. Announced on January 6, 2025, the new platform aims to modernize and simplify how bus operators across India purchase products and services needed for daily operations.
NOVA connects over 6,000 bus operators with a wide network of verified vendors across India. Through this single platform, bus owners can easily find and buy essential products and services required for safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, without dealing with multiple suppliers.
The marketplace offers 20 to 40 percent discounts on several important products. These include CCTV cameras, alcohol testing meters, driver monitoring systems, and fuel additives that claim to deliver up to 5 percent fuel savings. By offering these solutions in one place, NOVA helps operators reduce costs while improving fleet performance and passenger safety.
NOVA is fully integrated with redPro, redBus’s cloud-based analytics and fleet management platform. This allows bus operators to not only purchase products but also track performance data, dashboards, and insights in the same interface. The integration helps operators make smarter, data-backed decisions related to fleet operations and service quality.
According to Prakash Sangam, CEO of redBus, NOVA is designed to solve major industry problems such as fragmented sourcing, lack of reliable vendors, inconsistent product quality, and delayed payments. The platform also includes an integrated settlement framework to ensure smoother and faster vendor payments.
During its pilot phase, more than 100 bus operators placed at least one order through NOVA. The response highlights strong demand for a centralized, trusted procurement platform within the intercity bus ecosystem. NOVA also opens new opportunities for small businesses and startups by giving them access to a pan-India network of bus operators.
India’s intercity bus market is estimated at ₹47,443 crore, supported by the world’s second-largest road network. With NOVA, redBus expands its B2B offerings beyond ticketing, strengthening its role as a full-service technology partner for the bus industry.
Founded in 2006, redBus operates in countries including India, Singapore, Malaysia, Peru, Colombia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The company has sold over 466 million bus tickets globally and serves around 52 million customers. redBus is part of the MakeMyTrip Group, which is listed on Nasdaq under the symbol MMYT.

The launch of NOVA marks a major step in transforming India’s intercity bus ecosystem. By bringing verified vendors, discounted products, analytics, and seamless settlements onto one platform, redBus aims to simplify operations for thousands of bus operators. With strong pilot traction and deep integration with redPro, NOVA strengthens redBus’s B2B portfolio while supporting efficiency, safety, and growth in a rapidly expanding bus market.
