New Holland Agriculture has introduced its new 3230 TX Paddy Special tractor in Hyderabad, targeting the needs of small and medium landholding farmers. Designed specifically for local farming conditions, the tractor focuses on ease of use, fuel efficiency, and reliable performance across multiple crops.
The new model is well-suited for paddy fields as well as crops like maize, cotton, and horticulture. Its compact size allows smooth movement in narrow and uneven fields, making it a practical option for regions where farm plots are smaller and require agile machinery.
The New Holland 3230 TX comes in the 42 HP category, making it ideal for regular agricultural work. It delivers 39 HP PTO power, supporting implements such as rotavators, threshers, and water pumps. With a drawbar power of 32.4 HP, the tractor ensures strong pulling performance for tasks like trolley hauling and cultivator operations.
Its engine generates 166 Nm torque, allowing the tractor to maintain steady performance even under load without frequent gear changes. This not only improves productivity but also helps in reducing fuel consumption, offering long-term savings for farmers.
To improve ease of driving, the tractor features a constant mesh gearbox that enables smoother gear shifting. The side shift gear lever provides more cabin space, reducing operator fatigue during long working hours.
An 8+8 shuttle transmission allows quick forward and reverse movement, which is especially useful in repetitive field operations. The tractor can reach a top speed of 34.4 km/h, making it efficient for both fieldwork and transport needs.
For wet farming conditions like paddy cultivation, the model includes an EPTRAA PTO system along with double metal face sealing. These features protect the tractor’s internal components from water and mud, ensuring durability. A ground clearance of 390 mm further helps the tractor move easily across uneven surfaces and field bunds.
The tractor is equipped with a hydraulic lifting capacity of 2000 kg, allowing it to handle heavy farm implements with ease. Its advanced hydraulic system, supported by Lift-O-Matic, helps maintain consistent working depth, improving overall field efficiency.
Additionally, the independent PTO system gives better operational control and contributes to longer clutch life, making it a reliable choice for continuous farm use.
The New Holland 3230 TX Paddy Special tractor is designed as a multi-purpose machine for small and medium farmers. With its combination of power, fuel efficiency, ease of handling, and suitability for different crops, it aims to support daily farming operations effectively while reducing operating costs.
