Mumbai-based Neuron Energy has officially launched its second-generation lithium-ion battery packs. These advanced batteries will be available from July 2025 and are made for electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles. With this launch, the company expects to generate over ₹250 crore in revenue.
Made for India’s Roads and Conditions
The new Gen 2 battery packs are specially designed to handle India’s tough road and weather conditions. They include better heat management features to prevent overheating, especially during long runs in hot weather. The outer structure is reinforced to fit different vehicle types and protect the battery from strong vibrations on rough roads.
A key feature is the smart Battery Management System (BMS), which ensures even charging across all cells. This not only extends the battery’s lifespan but also reduces maintenance costs for the users.
A Wide Range of Buyers
Neuron Energy aims to supply these batteries to a wide customer base. This includes EV manufacturers, logistics companies, fleet operators, battery distributors, and government bodies. The batteries are suitable for both personal vehicles and commercial fleets, making them a versatile option in the EV market.
Supporting India’s EV Shift
India is rapidly moving towards electric mobility, but challenges like uneven roads and high temperatures remain. Neuron’s Gen 2 batteries directly address these issues, offering a durable and smart solution. With ongoing support from government EV policies and subsidies, the demand for reliable battery packs is expected to rise, and Neuron is positioning itself as a strong player in this growing space.
Future Goals
Neuron Energy is planning to expand its network and cater to more EV models soon. The company is focused on combining smart technology with durable design to meet the evolving needs of Indian drivers and transport operators.
