Montra Electric, part of the Murugappa Group, has delivered its 5,000 three-wheeler passenger auto in just one year since entering the electric three-wheeler market. As this market quickly shifts to electric vehicles, Montra Electric's success shows its strong position in this competitive area.

Over a period of a year, Montra Electric supplied 5,000 Super Autos to clients in 74 markets throughout 17 states.

Features and Specifications of Montra Electric Super Auto

Montra Electric Super Auto made a name for itself in the class with its distinct road presence, spaciousness, and outstanding 203km range (ARAI certified). It also included industry-first multi-drive modes for improved fuel efficiency and a Park Assist Mode for easy maneuvering through metropolitan traffic.

In November 2023, the Montra Super Auto received the International Red Dot Design Award for 2023 in the 'Design Concept' category. The prize was awarded in the 'Innovative Last Mile Mobility Electric Passenger Vehicle' category. 

The Montra Super Auto has a top speed of 55kph, a 0-20kph time of 4 seconds, and can seat four people, including the driver. It produces a peak power of 10 kW and torque of 60 Nm. The Super Auto is offered in two configurations: ePV and ePV 2.0. 

The Montra Super Auto's dimensions are length (2855mm), width (1350mm), and height (1750mm).

Future Plans

Montra Electric is also preparing to enter the three-wheeler goods segment, signaling further growth and diversification in the electric vehicle market.
