The much-awaited Mega Vegetable Expo 2025 is set to take place from March 21 to March 23 at the Vegetable Excellence Center, Gharaunda, Karnal. Organized by the Horticulture Department of the Haryana Government, this three-day event aims to provide farmers with the latest farming techniques, modern agricultural machinery, and advanced seed information.

Key Highlights of Mega Vegetable Expo 2025

• Chief Minister Naib Singh will be the chief guest, and Haryana Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana will be the special guest.

• Farmers attending the event will receive prizes, including tractors and other agricultural machinery.

• Vegetable farming, beekeeping, and potato production will be the main focus areas.

• Over 300 farmers will be awarded prizes.

• More than 200 horticulture-related companies will showcase their products.

• Live demonstrations of advanced horticulture techniques will be conducted.

• Cultural programs such as Ragini performances, magic shows, and traditional entertainment will take place.

Prizes for Farmers

Farmers will be rewarded for showcasing the best produce of various vegetables, including potatoes, tomatoes, onions, chillies, cabbage, ginger, garlic, and turmeric. The prize distribution details are as follows:

• One mini tractor per day (Total: 3 tractors)

• One power weeder per day (Total: 3 power weeders)

• 10 machinery units per day (Total: 30 machinery units)
