Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (MLMM) has further strengthened its leadership in India’s electric commercial vehicle (CV) space by selling over 10,000 EVs in August 2025. This milestone reflects the company’s dominant position in the segment, backed by a strong foundation in electrification and customer-centric initiatives.
MLMM has been leading the commercial EV category for three consecutive fiscal years. Its early investment in electrification, starting in 2018 with a focus on the L5 category, paved the way for both established OEMs and start-ups to embrace green mobility. Today, MLMM holds the title of India’s No.1 commercial EV manufacturer.
The company recorded remarkable growth in August 2025:
More than 10,000 EVs sold in a single month
75% year-over-year growth in the L5 EV category
40.7% market share in the August L5M EV category

32.2% overall electrification in the L5 category this year
Cumulatively, Mahindra has sold over 2.7 lakh electric vehicles, with the last 1 lakh achieved in just 15 months, showing the rising acceptance of its EV range.
Mahindra offers a wide range of electric vehicles catering to both cargo and passenger needs:
Cargo EVs: e-Alfa Cargo, Zor Grand, Treo Zor, Treo Yaari, and the Mahindra Zeo 4-wheeler
Passenger EVs: Treo, Treo Yaari, and e-Alfa Plus
Among them, the Mahindra Treo stands out, having recently crossed 1.3 lakh domestic sales. To celebrate this success, the company recently introduced a Treo Limited Edition, restricted to just 1,500 units.
MLMM has successfully built customer trust through impactful campaigns like #MainAzaadHoon and #TreoNeLifeBanaDi, which highlight how the Mahindra Treo has improved the lives of more than 1.3 lakh customers by providing affordable, sustainable, and profitable mobility.
In addition, its UDAY NXT program offers benefits such as ₹20 lakh accidental insurance and ensures representation for marginalized driver groups. These initiatives underline the company’s focus on safety, inclusivity, and long-term welfare.
Despite growing competition, Mahindra maintains an edge with technologically advanced products that prioritize performance, driver comfort, and profitability. Its wide sales and service network further strengthens customer confidence by ensuring easy access to after-sales support across India.
With a proven track record and strong growth momentum, MLMM is set to continue driving India’s shift to electric mobility. The company remains committed to building sustainable, profitable, and reliable solutions for last-mile transportation.
