The milestone comes as Mahindra’s electric commercial vehicles continue to expand across both passenger and cargo last-mile applications, supported by demand for lower operating costs and dependable business performance.

Mahindra EVs Cover Over 9 Billion Kilometres

According to MLMML, its electric vehicles have collectively travelled more than 9 billion kilometres on Indian roads. The company estimates that this usage has helped avoid approximately 1.85 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions, underlining the environmental impact of the shift towards electric last-mile mobility.

The company said the growing acceptance of its EVs has been driven largely by their economics and ability to support customers daily earnings and business operations. For last-mile operators, factors such as running costs, vehicle utilisation and reliability remain important when choosing an electric commercial vehicle.

Treo, Zor Grand, ZEO and Other EVs Drive Growth

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility’s electric vehicle portfolio includes the Treo range, UDO, Zor Grand, e-Alfa and ZEO. These vehicles cater to different requirements across passenger transportation and cargo delivery applications.

MLMML has also invested in new products, partnerships, financing solutions and customer support to make electric mobility more accessible to last-mile customers. These efforts have helped the company build a broader ecosystem around electric commercial vehicles rather than focusing only on vehicle sales.

According to Mahindra, MLMML has remained India’s No. 1 electric commercial vehicle manufacturer for four consecutive financial years.

Target of 1 Million EVs by 2031

The 4 lakh sales milestone is part of a larger electric mobility strategy. Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is targeting one million electric vehicles on the road by 2031.

The company plans to continue improving its electric vehicle products while strengthening the supporting ecosystem and making EV ownership more accessible to customers operating in the last-mile segment.

‘4 Lakh Livelihoods We Helped Power’

Commenting on the milestone, Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, said that the achievement represents more than just a sales figure.

“4 Lakh is not just a number for us, it is 4 Lakh livelihoods we helped power every single day.”

Mishra added that the company will remain focused on improving its products, strengthening the electric mobility ecosystem and making EVs more accessible to last-mile customers.
