Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors continued their strong performance in both domestic and export markets during May 2026. The tractor brands, part of the Mahindra Farm Equipment Business, reported total wholesale sales of 49,695 units during the month, registering a healthy 22% year-on-year growth compared to 40,643 units sold in May 2025.

The latest sales figures reflect strong rural demand, positive market conditions, and the company's continued leadership in the Indian tractor industry.

Domestic Tractor Sales Grow 23%

In the domestic market, Mahindra & Mahindra jointly sold 47,845 tractors in May 2026. During the same month last year, the company had sold 38,914 units.

This resulted in a 23% growth in domestic sales on a year-on-year basis. The strong performance was supported by the timely completion of Rabi harvesting and favourable terms of trade for farmers, which helped improve purchasing sentiment across rural markets.

Export Sales Register Steady Growth

Mahindra & Mahindra also maintained steady momentum in international markets. The company exported 1,850 tractors in May 2026, compared to 1,729 units exported in May 2025.

This represents a 7% increase in export sales, highlighting the growing acceptance of Mahindra and Mahindra tractors across global markets.

Total Tractor Sales Increase by 22%

Combining domestic and export sales, Mahindra & Mahindra recorded total wholesale tractor sales of 49,695 units in May 2026. In comparison, total sales stood at 40,643 units in May 2025.

The overall growth of 22% demonstrates the company's strong market position and sustained demand for its tractor range.

Mahindra & Mahindra also posted strong Year-To-Date (YTD) sales growth during the first two months of FY 2026-27.

Between April and May 2026, the company sold a total of 98,106 tractors, compared to 80,697 units during the corresponding period of the previous financial year. This translated into an overall YTD growth of 22%.

Domestic sales during the period reached 94,249 units, while exports stood at 3,857 units.
