Domestic Tractor Sales Grow 22.5%

Escorts Kubota recorded robust growth in the domestic market during May 2026. The company sold 11,887 tractors in India, compared to 9,703 units in May 2025, resulting in a 22.5% increase.

According to the company, the growth in domestic wholesale tractor sales was supported by sustained demand from the rural agriculture sector, adequate reservoir levels across several regions, and favorable farm sentiment. These factors encouraged farmers to invest in farm machinery and upgrade their equipment.

Export Sales Decline 35%

While domestic sales remained strong, Escorts Kubota witnessed a decline in its export business. The company exported 423 tractors in May 2026, compared to 651 units during the same month last year.

This resulted in a 35% decline in export sales on a year-on-year basis.

Overall Sales Reach 12,310 Units

Combining domestic and export sales, Escorts Kubota's total tractor sales stood at 12,310 units in May 2026, up from 10,354 units sold in May 2025.

The overall growth of 18.9% reflects the company's strong position in the Indian tractor market and the continued demand for tractors despite challenges in global markets.

YTD Sales Rise 21.4% in April-May 2026

From April to May 2026, the company sold 22,285 tractors in the domestic market, compared to 17,851 units during the same period last year, marking a 22.8% increase.

Export sales during the period stood at 882 units, down from 1,232 units in April-May 2025, representing a 28.4% decline.

Overall, the company's total tractor sales for April-May 2026 reached 23,167 units, compared to 19,083 units in the corresponding period last year. This resulted in a 21.4% growth in total sales.
