Mahindra & Mahindra has appointed Attreyi Mukherjee as Vice President and Head Legal for its expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) Business. The move marks a key addition to Mahindra’s leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing EV market.

Over 20 Years of Legal Experience

Mukherjee brings more than two decades of legal experience to her new role. Before joining Mahindra & Mahindra, she served as General Counsel at Tata Industries, where she managed several high-level legal and compliance matters.

Earlier in her career, she worked as Legal Counsel at the Tata Group, gaining valuable experience in handling legal frameworks for large and complex business operations.

Expertise Across Multiple Sectors

Attreyi Mukherjee is qualified to practice law in India as well as in England & Wales. Her legal expertise covers domestic and international mergers & acquisitions (M&As), joint ventures, and technology licensing.

Throughout her career, she has advised companies across diverse industries, including automotive, aviation, aerospace, e-commerce, edTech, digital health, fintech, life sciences, and consumer products. This wide-ranging experience gives her deep insight into managing complex legal structures for innovative and global businesses.

Mukherjee’s Vision for Mahindra’s EV Growth
