Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, an Indian manufacturer of electric two and three-wheelers, has appointed Debashis Mitra as President of the 3-wheeler division. Mitra has over three decades of experience in the Indian automotive industry and will bring expertise and leadership to Kinetic Green's operations.

Mitra's remarkable career includes senior executive positions at several well-known automotive firms. He has achieved outstanding outcomes and spearheaded transformative projects at companies such as AltiGreen, Greaves Cotton, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota Kirloskar, among others. 

Mitra has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the automotive industry. His strategic vision and achievements have aided the growth and success of these businesses.

Mitra will lead Kinetic Green's expansion plans in his new position, emphasizing the development of the business's network and market share in the globally expanding E3W category. 

His responsibilities include overseeing the Profit and Loss for the 3-wheeler Strategic Business Unit (SBU), working closely with R&D and operations/sourcing leadership to achieve efficiency and innovation.

Growth Targets of Kinetic Green 

Kinetic Green has set an ambitious expansion plan for fiscal year 2024-25. The company aims to double its dealership network and sell 20,000 E2W units. Mitra's appointment is expected to play a critical role in achieving these growth goals and reinforcing Kinetic Green's position as the electric vehicle industry leader.
