Key Highlights:
Kinetic Green is preparing to transition from its existing B2B business to a larger B2C approach. At a media event, Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani discussed the company's growth strategy, which focuses on impact, disruption, reach, and scale as it seeks to dominate India's rapidly expanding green transportation market.
Motwani further stated that the company aims to generate Rs 10,000 crore in sales by 2030, with 60 per cent of that coming from the two-wheeler category.
Kinetic Energy's future plans include new models and platform development. The company currently concentrates on the two- and three-wheeler categories at the forefront of India's EV revolution.
She also discussed the company's two electric three-wheeler platforms, which have been developed for scalability, efficiency, and durability.
Targeting Rs 10,000 Crore by 2030
Kinetic Green has set an ambitious goal to achieve Rs 10,000 crore in revenue by 2030. The company expects 60 percent of this revenue to come from its two-wheeler segment. In 2023, the company reported revenue of Rs 300 crore, and it aims to reach Rs 900 crore by the end of this year.
Expanding EV Platforms
Kinetic Green is making strides in both the two-wheeler and three-wheeler EV markets. Motwani highlighted two platforms in the three-wheeler space. The L3 platform, which is already popular, focuses on city-based electric three-wheelers with various configurations, including passenger and cargo vehicles.
It offers both fixed and swappable battery options and is fully engineered in India. The company also introduced its advanced L5 platform, which promises higher performance.
This model, designed for heavier loads up to 500 kg, features a 60 kmph speed limit, PMSM motor technology, hydraulic brakes, and independent suspension for a smooth driving experience. It also includes ultra-fast charging capabilities.
Future Plans and Focus on Two-Wheelers
Motwani revealed plans to launch new two-wheeler models based on the eLuna platform. This expansion will further solidify Kinetic Green's position in the EV market, especially with its focus on flexible battery options that minimize dependency on government subsidies.
