Key Highlights:
Isuzu has officially revealed the all-electric D-Max EV at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show) in Birmingham. This marks the first-ever fully electric pick-up truck for commercial use to enter the European market. Production of this electric version has already started in Thailand. Earlier this year, Isuzu Motors India showcased the concept version of the D-Max EV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in New Delhi.
Key Performance and Capabilities
The D-Max EV has been developed on the award-winning D-Max platform. Now it is re-engineered to include a modern electric powertrain. It features:
It’s powered by a 66.9 kWh lithium-ion battery and offers a WLTP range of 263 km. The dual-motor setup produces 140 kW combined power and 325 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds, reaching a top speed of 128 km/h.
Off-Road Ready and Smart Features
It comes in Extended Cab and Double Cab options, with trims based on the popular DL40 and V-Cross diesel models. The D-Max electric truck is designed to handle tough terrains. It includes:
Refined Comfort and Technology
The D-Max EV introduces a De-Dion rear suspension, replacing leaf springs, for better handling and a 10% quieter cabin. Available in Extended and Double Cab configurations, it mirrors the premium DL40 and V-Cross trims of the diesel model. The cabin has a high-resolution touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The EV comes with a reinforced ladder chassis that can manage heavy-duty loads. It also features Rough Terrain Mode and Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) to improve safety and control.
Technology and Warranty
It reduces carbon footprints while maintaining the durability and versatility of the award-winning D-Max platform. Inside, drivers get the latest infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, shown on a high-resolution touchscreen. Isuzu offers an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty, making the D-Max EV truck a dependable choice for construction, agriculture, or eco-conscious adventurers.
