Manufacturing Plant
The Sri City plant plays a very important role in Isuzu’s export success. Recently, the facility celebrated a major achievement by rolling out its 100,000th vehicle. It serves as a key manufacturing hub not just for exports, but also for the domestic Indian market, especially in the pickup vehicle segment. Alongside boosting exports, the company has also been focusing on expanding its sales and service network within India to make its vehicles more accessible to Indian customers.
The manufacturing plant at Sri City covers an area of 107 acres and started operations in April 2016. In February 2020, IMI began its Phase-II expansion, adding a new Press Shop and an engine assembly plant. This has helped the company strengthen its manufacturing capabilities even further.
