Hitachi Payment Services has teamed up with AbhiBus to launch an Integrated Ticketing Management System (IMTS) for state-run buses in Himachal Pradesh. This initiative will introduce cashless ticketing solutions across more than 3,100 buses, enhancing the travel experience for passengers.

Features of the New System

The digital transit solution will enable passengers to:

  • Check real-time seat availability

  • Purchase tickets at bus counters or while on the bus using GPRS-enabled Electronic Bus Ticketing Machines (EBTM)

Passengers will have various digital payment options, including debit/credit cards, UPI, QR codes, prepaid wallets, and the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). Those eligible for free or discounted fares can use smart card passes to obtain tickets through the EBTM.
