This partnership aligns with India's goal of having 80 million electric vehicles on the roads by 2030.

Key Highlights:

  • Hala Mobility partnered with iGowise Mobility.
  • The trikes offer better cargo capacity and stability than two-wheelers.
  • Hala Mobility raised INR 51 crore and plans to deploy 10,000 EVs by December 2025.
  • India targets 80 million EVs on road by 2030.
  • The BeiGo electric trikes have a stable design to prevent tipping.

Hala Mobility, an EV service platform, has partnered with iGowise Mobility to introduce 2,000 high-speed electric trikes for last-mile delivery in Hyderabad and Bangalore. These specially designed electric vehicles, made in India, help improve last-mile logistics.

Under the deal, iGowise will provide its BeiGo electric pickup trikes, which offer more cargo space and better stability than two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws. These vehicles will be used for e-commerce, perishable goods delivery, and quick commerce.

Hala Mobility recently raised INR 51 crore and aims to deploy 10,000 electric vehicles by December 2025 to boost electric logistics in India. The company provides EVs through rent, lease, or subscription and offers services like battery swapping and fleet analytics.

This partnership aligns with India's goal of having 80 million electric vehicles on the roads by 2030. The electric mobility sector is gaining interest as businesses look to cut costs and meet sustainability goals, while the government supports cleaner transportation with various incentives.

Leadership Insight:

Srikanth Reddy, CEO of Hala Mobility, said that last-mile delivery needs a balance of speed, cost, and rider comfort. He added that the BeiGo electric trike is eco-friendly and improves operations.

Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO and co-founder of iGowise Mobility, said their vehicles reduce emissions while improving safety, comfort, and cost savings for logistics partners.

Experts say that specially designed electric vehicles for commercial use are becoming more popular in India’s EV market. Last-mile delivery is a good fit for EVs because of fixed routes and the ease of setting up charging or battery-swapping stations.
