Gangamai Sugar Mill, in partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra, has become the first private sugar mill in Maharashtra to adopt advanced AI and satellite-based technology for sugarcane harvesting. Bringing AI and Satellite Imaging to Farms

The new system uses Mahindra’s satellite imaging and AI tools to monitor sugarcane fields more effectively. Multispectral satellite data is collected to check the vegetation health of crops. This data, combined with weather information, is processed by an AI model to predict sugar recovery rates with up to 95% accuracy.
