Euler Motors and Tata Power Renewables Join Hands to Expand EV Charging for Commercial Vehicles

Euler Motors, a leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has signed a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Power Renewables, one of India’s largest integrated power companies. This partnership aims to boost EV adoption by expanding fast-charging infrastructure for commercial electric vehicles.

Under this MoU, Tata Power Renewables will set up fast chargers for Euler Motors entire product range, ensuring easy access to charging stations for customers. These chargers will be placed at key locations along high-demand routes, making charging more convenient for fleet operators. Customers will also receive smart cards for seamless access to Tata Power Renewables charging stations.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Virendra Goyal, Head of Business Development - EV Business, Tata Power EV Charging Solutions Limited (TPEVCSL), and Ashish Tandon, Global Head - Customer Excellence, Euler Motors.

Addressing the Need for Fast Charging

Commercial EV users often struggle with charging accessibility, unlike traditional fuel stations. This partnership aims to solve that challenge by strategically placing chargers based on fleet duty cycles. Tata Power Renewables will install, operate, and maintain fast chargers, ensuring high uptime and reliability. Euler Motors will provide rent-free spaces for these chargers, reinforcing their commitment to expanding India’s EV ecosystem.

Additionally, Tata Power Renewables will upgrade chargers when needed to match the higher capacity delivered by Euler Motors vehicles. The Euler HiLoadEV is currently the only 3-wheeler commercial EV with fast-charging capability, enabling a full charge in just 30 minutes to maximize efficiency and uptime.
