In June 2024, Escorts Kubota sold 9,359 tractors in India, showing a 1% increase from 9,270 units sold in June 2023. This slight growth indicates steady demand in the domestic market.
Significant Decrease in Export Sales
However, the company's export sales saw a significant decline. In June 2024, Escorts Kubota exported only 234 tractors, compared to 580 units in June 2023, marking a 59.7% drop. This decrease affected the overall sales performance.
Overall Sales Down by 2.6%
Combining both domestic and export sales, Escorts Kubota sold a total of 9,593 tractors in June 2024, down from 9,850 units in June 2023. This represents a 2.6% year-on-year (YoY) decrease.
First Quarter FY25 Performance
Looking at the first quarter of FY25 (April to June 2024), Escorts Kubota's total sales were 25,720 units, compared to 26,582 units in the same period of the previous fiscal year, resulting in a 3.2% YoY decline.
