Escorts Kubota Limited's Agri Machinery Business recorded strong tractor sales growth in August 2026. The company sold a total of 10,072 tractors, registering a 19.1% year-on-year growth compared to 8,456 tractors sold in August 2025.
The growth was mainly supported by strong domestic demand, favourable monsoon conditions, good Kharif sowing, and steady rural demand.

Escorts Kubota sold 9,523 tractors in the domestic market in August 2026, compared to 7,902 units in August 2025. This represents a growth of 20.5%.
The Indian tractor market remained stable during the month. Better monsoon conditions and healthy Kharif sowing supported agricultural activities and tractor demand. Expectations of improved farm income also contributed to positive market sentiment.
The company's tractor exports stood at 549 units in August 2026, compared to 554 units during August 2025. This resulted in a marginal decline of 0.9% in export sales.

During the April to August period of FY27, Escorts Kubota sold a total of 55,665 tractors, compared to 46,191 tractors during the same period of FY26. This represents an overall growth of 20.5%.
Domestic tractor sales reached 53,174 units, registering a 22.6% increase from 43,374 units in the previous year. However, exports declined by 11.6% to 2,491 units, compared to 2,817 units earlier.

Looking ahead, Kharif crop performance, reservoir levels, improved farm income and the upcoming festive season could further support tractor demand. However, higher input costs and a strong sales base from the previous year may limit the pace of future growth.
