Mahindra Tractor Sales August 2026: Sales Rise 5%, Domestic Sales Reach 27,595 Units

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business has reported a 5% year-on-year growth in total tractor sales for August 2026. The company sold a total of 29,507 tractors during the month, compared to 28,117 units in August 2025.

The growth was supported by improved domestic demand, steady rainfall conditions and positive rural sentiment. Mahindra recorded domestic tractor sales of 27,595 units, while exports stood at 1,912 units in August 2026.

Mahindra Tractor Sales in August 2026

Mahindra's domestic tractor sales increased by 5%, rising from 26,201 units in August 2025 to 27,595 units in August 2026.

Meanwhile, tractor exports remained nearly unchanged. The company exported 1,912 tractors in August 2026, compared to 1,916 units during the same month last year.

Mahindra Cumulative Tractor Sales Grow 16% Till August

Mahindra also reported strong cumulative tractor sales growth for FY27 through August 2026. Domestic tractor sales reached 2,12,664 units, compared to 1,82,390 units during the corresponding period of FY26, recording a growth of 17%.

Exports increased by 9% to 9,304 units, compared to 8,524 units last year. As a result, Mahindra's cumulative total tractor sales reached 2,21,968 units, up 16% from 1,90,914 units in the previous financial year.

Improved Rainfall Supports Tractor Demand

Commenting on the sales performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said that steady improvement in rainfall has supported near-normal Kharif sowing.

He added that continued support from various government schemes and the upcoming festive season are expected to further strengthen rural sentiment. Mahindra sold 27,595 tractors in the domestic market and exported 1,912 tractors during August 2026.
