Electric Buses Sales Report May 2025: PMI Electro Mobility Emerges as Top Choice for E-Buses

PMI Electro Mobility, Tata Motors, JBM Auto, Olectra Greentech, Pinnacle Mobility and others have announced their sales figures for May 2025. PMI Electro Mobility emerged as the top performer in electric bus sales in May 2025, followed by Olectra Greentech and JBM Auto.

In May 2025, the electric bus market saw a growth in sales. The total number of electric buses sold was 338 units in May 2025, compared to 284 in April 2025. Electric bus sales reached 338 units in May 2025, compared to 221 units in May 2024.

Electric Buses Sales Report May 2025: OEM-wise Sales Analysis

Here is the OEM-wise Sales Analysis of Electric Buses Sales Report May 2025:

PMI Electro Mobility's sales dropped by 41 units in May 2025, with 147 buses sold compared to 188 in April 2025. Its market share in May was 43.5%.

Olectra Greentech sold 60 buses in May 2025, compared to 25 buses in April 2025. It sold 35 more buses than in April. Its market share in May was 17.8%.

JBM Auto sold 59 buses in May 2025, compared to 40 buses in April 2025. It sold 19 more buses than in April. Its market share in May was 17.5%.

Switch Mobility Automotive sold 51 buses in May 2025, compared to 0 buses in April 2025. It sold 51 more buses than in April. Its market share in May was 15.1%.

Pinnacle Mobility sold 12 buses in May 2025, compared to 3 buses in April 2025. It sold 9 more buses than in April. Its market share in May was 3.6%.

JBM Electric Vehicles sold 6 buses in May 2025, compared to 6 buses in April 2025. Its market share in May was 1.8%.

Tata Motors sold 3 buses in May 2025, compared to 6 buses in April 2025. It sold 3 fewer buses than in April. Its market share in May was 0.9%.

Other brands sold 0 buses in total in May 2025, compared to 16 buses in April 2025.

Total Sales: 338 electric buses were sold in May 2025, compared to 284 buses in April 2025.
