DICV opens two new Regional Training Centres for the BharatBenz service network, one in Dharuhera and the other in Pune. Both RTCs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated training services.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicle Private Limited (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has opened two new Regional Training Centres (RTC) in Dharuhera (Haryana) and Pune (Maharashtra). Both RTCs are a part of DICV’s initiative to strengthen the skill sets and proficiency of its technical personnel within the BharatBenz sales and service network.
The company now has four RTCs in India including existing centres in Chennai and Odisha. The new RTCs are strategically positioned closer to BharatBenz authorised dealerships and service centres.
Unique Qualities of RTCs
The RTC in Dharuhera, Haryana is spread across a 6,600 sq. ft. area, in partnership with Dhingra Trucking. The other centre in Pune, in partnership with Autobahn Trucking, spans 7,800 sq. ft. in area.
Both centres are capable of accommodating 60 trainees simultaneously. Both facilities are equipped with dedicated trainers, 500 plus tools and two BS6 vehicles with 10 trucks and bus aggregates.
The President and Chief Business Officer of Domestic Sales and Customer Service at DICV - Sreeram Venkateswaran said, “BharatBenz Regional Training Centres are inaugurated in locations that are closer to our authorised dealerships and service centres. Over the past four years, we have trained around 15,000 BharatBenz technicians, sales staff and drivers.”

Scope and Aim of BharatBenz RTCs
BharatBenz RTCs are capable of upskilling and reskilling 3,500 technicians, sales staff and drivers, year on year, across the BharatBenz network. These facilities are equipped to provide advanced product and customer servicing skills, comprehensive product knowledge and many such skills to BharatBenz staff as per the press release.

We will strive to consistently take this level of excellence up by making our personnel more capable and more competent as BharatBenz goes on to break new ground in the coming years,” Venkateswaran added.
