Prawaas 4.0: A Hub for Public Transport Innovations
Prawaas 4.0, which featured the unveiling of the GARUD 15M, is the fourth edition of an event centered on India's public transportation sector.
Prawaas, which means "travel" in Hindi, brings together diverse participants in the bus and auto operator ecosystems. The event often includes demonstrations of new vehicle types, technology solutions for public transportation, and debates about sector-related policy issues.
The three-day event, held from August 29th to 31st at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) in Bengaluru, provides an opportunity for industry stakeholders to debate and present advances in public transportation.
Themes of Prawaas 4.0
Sustainable mobility solutions, improvements in hybrid and electric vehicles for public transportation, digital technology for improving passenger experience, and methods for increasing public transportation system efficiency are among the key themes of Prawaas 4.0.
The event also serves as a venue for operators, manufacturers, and politicians to discuss the future of public transportation in India, including issues such as urbanization, environmental concerns, and the need for efficient and cost-effective mass transit solutions.
Prawaas 4.0 intends to contribute to the continuing transformation of India's public transportation sector by promoting knowledge sharing, business networking, and the display of cutting-edge technologies and vehicles like as the GARUD 15M.
