Segment-wise Gross CV Sales for July 2025

Performance: The company recorded a 2.41% growth in Gross Commercial Vehicle Sales, including a 4% growth in the M&HCV and a 1% growth in the LCV category.

Category-Wise Breakdown: In July 2025, the M&HCV truck category sold 6,667 units, up from 6,426 in July 2024. In July 2025, in the LCV category, 5,535 units were sold, compared to 5,488 in July 2024.

In the domestic market, Ashok Leyland witnessed a 3.29% increase in sales, with 11,874 units sold in July 2025, compared to 11,495 units in July 2024.

Segment-wise Domestic Sales Performance

M&HCV Truck Segment: The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle (M&HCV) truck category reported a growth of 4% in sales. The company sold 6,518 units in July 2025 compared to 6,254 units in July 2024.

LCV Category: In the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) category, the company experienced a growth of 2% in sales. The company sold 5,356 units in July 2025 compared to 5,241 units in July 2024.

Ashok Leyland Export Sales July 2025

The company experienced a decline of 21.71% in export sales, with 328 units shipped in July 2025 compared to 419 units in July 2024.

Decline in M&HCV Category: Export sales in the M&HCV category experienced a decline of 13%, with 149 units sold in July 2025, compared to 172 units in July 2024.

Growth in LCV Category: Ashok Leyland witnessed a decline of 28% in the LCV category, with 179 units sold in July 2025, compared to 247 units in July 2024.
