Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group's Indian flagship and the country's top commercial vehicle manufacturer, opened its Light Commercial Vehicle dealership in Tinsukia, Assam, making it the company's fourth in the state.
Bharat Motors, new channel partner, offers a 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facility complete with advanced tools and speedy service bays. The company presently offers four LCV models: BADA DOST, DOST, PARTNER, and MiTR.
The recently introduced BADA DOST is the first product to be built on a new strong LCV platform with three variants: i2, i3+, and i4. Powered by 80 HP BS6 engines, the range provides higher mileage, power, payload, load body length, and loading area, allowing clients to generate more profit every trip.
Because of its short turning radius and best-in-class ground clearance, the BADA DOST is suited for both inter-city and intra-city applications, and it can easily scale all terrains, ensuring last-mile connectivity.
The DOST range is available in the following models: DOST LiTE, DOST STRONG, DOST+, DOST CNG, and DOST+ CNG, to cater to diverse market groups based on application.
PARTNER, a modern and extremely fuel-efficient load carrier, caters to the 4 tonne payload market and is available in both 4 and 6 wheel configurations. It has load body options of 10FT, 11FT, 14FT, and 17FT. According to the press release, PARTNER is built on an internationally acclaimed vehicle platform and features a renowned ZD30 CRDI engine.
Official Statement
Amandeep Singh, President - IO, LCV, Defence & PSB, Ashok Leyland Ltd, stated, "One of the primary reasons for the runaway success of our 'DOST Range' and now the 'BADA DOST' has been the product's robustness and our network reach. All of our products have received positive feedback from consumers because to their best-in-class mileage and performance, which is backed up by substantial sales and aftersales support."
He also mentioned that over 70% of our consumers returned to their dealer workshops even after the warranty term had ended. "This new dealership is being opened to further strengthen our reach, in line with our commitment," said the CEO.
