Ashok Leyland, one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturing companies in India, has donated Rs 3 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Relief Fund. These funds will contribute heavily to humanitarian aid and relief work for the areas affected by floods caused by the Michaung cyclone.

Official Presentation of the Donation

The MD & CEO of Ashok Leyland - Mr. Shenu Agarwal formally handed over the Rs 3 crore cheque to Thiru M.K. Stalin, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Tamil Nadu. This decision to donate reflects Ashok Leyland’s dedication to contributing positively to the community, especially in these challenging times.

CEO’s Statement on Relief Efforts

The Managing Director & CEO of Ashok Leyland - Mr. Shenu Agarwal, said, “We are deeply saddened by the havoc caused by the cyclonic storm and the incessant rains that has affected the life of many people in Chennai and adjoining districts. While the cyclone has left a trail of destruction, it is very heartening to see the quick response demonstrated by the Government of Tamil Nadu in managing the difficult situation and in ensuring that necessary relief measures are undertaken.”
