Under the new GST structure, the tax on pneumatic tyres has been reduced from 28% to 18%, while tractor tyres and tubes will now attract just 5% GST. This is expected to bring down transportation costs and support both the logistics and agriculture sectors.
Passing on the benefit to customers, Apollo Tyres has reduced prices:
₹300–₹1,500 on passenger car tyres
Up to ₹2,000 on truck and bus radial tyres
Price reduction also applies to agricultural and two-wheeler tyres
The company is working with its dealer network to ensure smooth implementation of the revised prices nationwide.
Rajesh Dahiya, Vice President (Commercial, India, SAARC, and Southeast Asia) at Apollo Tyres, stated that the price reduction will lower vehicle ownership and operating costs. He emphasized that this move will ease the financial burden on farmers, fleet operators, and daily commuters by making tyres more affordable.
Apollo Tyres offers a wide variety of tractor tyres, available in both radial and bias ply options.
Radial Ply Tyres: Provide superior traction, improved fuel efficiency, and a smoother ride.
Bias Ply Tyres: Affordable and durable, designed to resist cuts and punctures, ideal for rough farming conditions.
With the GST cut and Apollo’s new prices, farmers can expect better savings on maintenance and improved performance from their farming equipment.
