AMPL opens second 3S facility in Varanasi for Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles

AMPL the largest dealer for Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles opens a second 3S facility in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The 3S facility will provide services to Ashok Leyland customers on a 480 km wide reach.

Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL) achieved a significant milestone with the inauguration of a brand new 3S facility in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The new 3S facility represents the commitment of AMPL, Ashok Leyland’s largest dealer, to providing easy and convenient support and extensive reach to the company’s customers in the state.

This is AMPL’s second facility in the city and the fifth touch point in Uttar Pradesh. The facility is strategically located on National Highway (NH) 19 and serves as a vital point connecting all Northern and Eastern states. The facility features 10 vehicle servicing bays. The bays are equipped with advanced tools which are handled and operated by a team of highly trained mechanics. The facility covers 60,000 sq. ft. area. The facility also offers 24x7 breakdown support and a comfortable lounge for drivers with a night halt facility.

The President of MHCV at Ashok Leyland - Sanjeev Kumar, at the inauguration, said, “Uttar Pradesh is an important market for us. We have created a strong foothold in the region, and this new dealership will further bolster our presence in this geography. Our long-term partner Automotive Manufacturers Pvt Ltd, with this new outlet will ensure we serve our customers in this region better.”

The 3S facility will serve a customer base on a 480 km long stretch between Kanpur in UP and Aurangabad in Bihar. The facility will offer services for Ashok Leyland trucks and buses including tipper trucks, haulage trucks, cargo trucks and passenger buses to reduce their downtime and improve work productivity and profitability.
