Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited (AMPL), a leading automobile retail group in India, has opened a new Mahindra dealership in Vijayawada. Situated at Enikepadu on Eluru Road, this marks AMPL's 135th Mahindra outlet and is known as the largest in South India. This outlet was built with an investment of ₹15 crore.
Operational Reach
AMPL runs Mahindra outlets across six states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. In the financial year 2025, the group achieved sales of more than 37,000 Mahindra vehicles. The newly launched dealership is the fifth one in the Krishna district, and two additional outlets are expected to be opened soon.
Facility Details
The facility covers an area of about 1.03 lakh square feet. The dealership operates in a 3S format, providing vehicle sales, servicing, and spare parts. Its showroom can display 14 Mahindra models, including petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles, as well as small commercial vehicles and last-mile mobility options. The service area has 61 bays and a fast-charging point, capable of servicing around 28,000 vehicles each year.
Inauguration Event Highlights
The event was attended by the senior Mahindra officials, including Mr. Pavan Kumar, Vice President - Sales, Customer Care & CX, and Mr. Baneswar Bannerjee, President & National Sales Head. Mr. Rajiv Sanghvi, Executive Director of AMPL, highlighted that this is the fifth Mahindra outlet in Krishna district, with plans for two more in the pipeline.
