The Central Government has released the 21st instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, bringing great relief to crores of farmers across India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred ₹2,000 directly to farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
With this instalment, more than 9 crore farmers have received financial support, and a total of ₹18,000 crore has been deposited into their bank accounts.
PM Kisan is one of India’s largest farmer-welfare schemes, under which eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 every year, paid in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 each. The scheme aims to provide steady financial assistance for farming activities.

Jammu & Kashmir
These states were severely hit by floods, and to ensure timely support, the government released their PM-KISAN instalment in advance.
Now, with the latest release, farmers in all states have received the 21st instalment.
