Workshops to guide the application process.
The Rajasthan government has expanded the scope of the Lado Incentive Scheme 2025 (Laado Protsahan Yojana), a major initiative aimed at empowering girls and supporting their education. Earlier, this scheme was limited to girl students studying in government schools, but now it has been extended to students studying in recognized private schools as well.
Under this expanded scheme, eligible daughters will receive financial assistance of ₹1.50 lakh in total, an increase from the earlier ₹1 lakh limit. The amount will be provided in seven installments until the girl reaches the age of 21.
The Rajasthan government launched the Lado Protsahan Yojana to encourage the education and empowerment of daughters.
Under the revised plan, the total financial assistance has been increased to ₹1.50 lakh, which will be given in seven stages linked to the girl’s education and age milestones.
The financial amount under the Lado Incentive Scheme will be released in seven parts as follows:
Stage | Condition | Installment Amount (₹) |
1 | At the birth of the daughter | 2,500 |
2 | On completion of 1 year and all vaccinations | 2,500 |
3 | Admission to Class 1 | 4,000 |
4 | Admission to Class 6 | 5,000 |
5 | Admission to Class 10 | 10,000 |
6 | Admission to Class 12 | 25,000 |
7 | On completing graduation and reaching age of 21 | 1,00,000 |
Thus, daughters will receive a total financial support of ₹1.50 lakh throughout their education journey.
To avail of the scheme’s benefits, applicants must meet the following conditions:
The girl child must be born in a government or authorized medical institution in Rajasthan.
