This scheme is initially being implemented in three districts, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, and Khagaria, where a crop demonstration program is running across 5,000 acres of land.

Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinhashared that the scheme offers direct financial support of ₹4,000 per acre to farmers. This financial aid will help reduce the cultivation cost of soybean and improve farmers earnings.

Additionally, the government is distributing 355 quintals of certified soybean seeds free of cost. The 100 quintals of breeder seeds provided by the Central Government are also being produced locally in Bihar.
