80 lakh farmers are registered in Rajasthan.
One Unique Farmer ID for all schemes.
Direct benefits without repeated paperwork.
Linked to PM Kisan, MSP, insurance, and loans.
Fake beneficiaries will be eliminated.
The Rajasthan government is rapidly strengthening its Farmer Registry system to ensure farmers get government scheme benefits directly, transparently, and on time. So far, over 80 lakh (8 million) farmers in the state have registered, making the Farmer Registry the backbone of agricultural welfare schemes in Rajasthan.
The main aim of this initiative is to free farmers from repeated paperwork and ensure that the right benefits reach the right people without delays. To achieve this, the Farmer Registry has been linked with both state and central government agriculture schemes.

The Farmer Registry is a digital database of farmers created to provide them with a Unique Farmer ID. This ID acts as a single identity for farmers to access various government schemes without submitting documents again and again. Once registered, farmers can easily receive benefits from multiple schemes through one verified record.
According to the Revenue Department, farmers registered under the Farmer Registry are already receiving direct benefits from several important schemes. These include:
PM Kisan Samman Nidhi installments
Crop sale at Minimum Support Price (MSP)
Agricultural loans
Disaster and relief assistance
The government has also clarified that many upcoming schemes will be available only through the Farmer Registry. Farmers who do not register may miss out on future benefits.
To make the process easy and accessible, the Rajasthan government has enabled Farmer Registry registration across all districts. Farmers can register at:
Nearest e-Mitra Center
Gram Panchayat
Tehsil Office
Common Service Center (CSC)
Farmers are advised to complete registration as soon as possible to avoid delays in receiving scheme benefits.
Farmers need only a few basic documents to register:
Aadhaar Card
Jamabandi or Khasra Number
Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
After verification, farmers are issued a Unique Farmer ID, which will be used for all government agricultural schemes.

The Farmer Registry is a key pillar of the Digital Agriculture Mission (AgriStack) approved by the central government in September 2024. The mission aims to build a trusted and unified digital database of farmers across India.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the Unique Farmer ID will ensure that government assistance reaches only eligible farmers, improving accuracy and efficiency.
With Farmer Registry and AgriStack, the government aims to completely stop fake beneficiaries. This will bring greater transparency to schemes like PM Kisan, crop insurance, MSP procurement, farm loans, and disaster relief, ensuring that public funds are not misused.
The central and state governments are jointly linking land records, farmer details, and Aadhaar-based identification under this system. As per AgriStack’s official portal, most farming-related services will soon be available digitally through the Farmer ID.
This will remove the need for repeated document submission and allow farmers to access benefits faster and more smoothly.
Overall, the Farmer Registry is not just a gateway to government schemes but is becoming a permanent, reliable digital identity for farmers. With more farmers enrolling every day, the system is expected to transform how agricultural services and benefits are delivered in Rajasthan and across India.

The Farmer Registry is transforming how farmers access government benefits in Rajasthan. With over 80 lakh farmers already enrolled, the system ensures transparency, faster delivery, and accurate targeting of schemes. By linking Aadhaar, land records, and digital services, it reduces paperwork and stops fake beneficiaries. In the coming years, this Unique Farmer ID will play a key role in making farming services fully digital, simple, and farmer-friendly.
