Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) achieved a sales milestone in December 2024, reporting 6,426 units sold. This marks a slight growth of 0.55% compared to December 2023, when 6,391 units were sold.

Eicher’s commercial vehicle (CV) sales dropped slightly by 0.28%, with 6,137 units sold in December 2024 compared to 6,154 units in December 2023.

• Domestic Sales: A 2.99% decline was recorded, with 5,778 units sold versus 5,956 units last year.
• Segment-Wise Performance:
  • Light and Medium Duty Trucks (3.5-18.5T): Sales fell by 5.87%, from 3,868 units in December 2023 to 3,641 units in December 2024.
  • Heavy Duty Trucks (>18.5T): Sales grew by 2.35%, with 2,137 units sold in December 2024 compared to 2,088 units in December 2023.

Export Sales

Exports showed remarkable growth, with Eicher CV exports surging by 81.31%.

• Light & Medium Duty Exports: The segment saw a significant 94.51% growth, selling 319 units compared to 164 units in December 2023.
• Heavy Duty Exports: Sales increased by 17.65%, with 40 units sold compared to 34 units last year.

Volvo Truck Sales

Volvo Trucks demonstrated strong performance, achieving a 21.94% growth in December 2024. A total of 289 units were sold, compared to 237 units in December 2023.
