Shriram Automall and Volvo CE partner to enhance the pre-owned construction equipment industry through efficient management and comprehensive support services.

Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) has announced a strategic partnership with Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). This partnership aims to boost the pre-owned construction equipment industry in India. SAMIL's strong auction platforms and wide network will play a crucial role in this collaboration.
The partnership will help Volvo CE and its dealers manage their used construction equipment more effectively. SAMIL's "phygital" auction platforms, which include over 135 Automalls across India, online portals (cartradeexchange.com and bids.samil.in), and the MySAMIL App, will allow Volvo CE to offer competitive exchange deals to customers.
SAMIL will provide comprehensive support services to Volvo CE customers. These services include parking, inspection, valuation, and documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for those buying and selling used construction equipment.
Over the past 13 years, SAMIL has successfully completed over 68,000 transactions involving pre-owned construction equipment. Their expertise in vehicle and equipment valuation is well-known. SAMIL's prediction engine, The PriceX, uses advanced data analytics to provide accurate pricing, ensuring fair transactions for all parties involved.
Dimitrov Krishnan, Managing Director of Volvo CE India, expressed his excitement about the partnership. He stated, "Our agreement with SAMIL will provide a seamless channel for our customers and dealers to actively engage in the trade-in and sale of used equipment. SAMIL's extensive network of physical machine stockyards and their robust digital capabilities will support our dealer network in facilitating used product trades."
