He will be based at DICV’s Chennai operations.
Mishra spent over eight years with IRMA.

He will support BharatBenz’s communication and brand strategy.
Shivansh Mishra has joined Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) as the Brand Manager for BharatBenz. Based in Chennai, Mishra will be responsible for brand-related initiatives and is expected to contribute to strengthening BharatBenz's communication and brand strategy in India's commercial vehicle market.
Mishra announced his appointment through a LinkedIn post, expressing his enthusiasm about beginning this new professional journey.
“It’s my pleasure to share with you all that I have joined Daimler India Commercial Vehicles as the Brand Manager for BharatBenz,” he wrote.
The appointment brings a communications professional with experience across brand communication, public relations, content development, editing and communications strategy to the BharatBenz team.
Before joining DICV, Mishra spent more than eight years at the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA). He most recently served as Manager – Communication, where his work covered communication processes, strategic communications and institutional branding.
During his long tenure at IRMA, he gained extensive experience in developing and managing communication initiatives, while also working on institutional brand-building and broader strategic communication activities.
Mishra's professional journey spans several areas, including brand communication, content development, editing, public relations and communications strategy.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a consultant with the Bremen Overseas Research and Development Association. He also worked as a content developer and editor at Reacho.
His experience further includes roles with Samarthan–Centre for Development Support and Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad. In addition, Mishra has worked as a freelance writer and undertaken assignments with organisations such as the International Water Management Institute.
With his background in strategic communication, institutional branding, content and public relations, Mishra is set to support BharatBenz's brand-related activities in his new position at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles.
As Brand Manager for BharatBenz, he will contribute to strengthening the brand and its communication strategy as it continues to operate in India's competitive commercial vehicle market. His appointment adds a professional with diverse experience across communications and branding to the DICV team in Chennai.
