Scania Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has announced an exclusive collaboration with PPS Motors, appointing them as the sole representatives for Scania's mining tippers across India. This strategic alliance aims to bolster sales and service operations nationwide, emphasizing Scania's dedication to pioneering sustainable transport solutions through technology and innovation.

Mr. Johan P. Schlyter, Managing Director of Scania Commercial Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd., highlighted, "Through the recent signing of an agreement with PPS Motors, we've laid the foundation for an impactful alliance focused on our mining tippers segment in India. By leveraging our cutting-edge technology, we are optimistic about making a substantial contribution to India's efforts in reaching its Net Zero Emission goal."

Supply Chain and Service Network-

PPS Motors has established six regional warehouses strategically located near mining sites across India. These are efficiently linked to Scania's central warehouse in Nagpur, forming a robust hub-and-spoke model. This setup ensures a seamless and swift parts supply chain. Complementing these warehouses are three top-notch workshops adhering to Scania's global mining standards. Manned by skilled technicians, nine mobile service vans are deployed to handle major repairs and overhauling, ensuring efficient customer support.

Mr Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director of PPS Motors, expressed, "We are happy to partner with Scania as their exclusive distributor for their mining trucks business in India. The response and the trust that the customers have shown on the Scania Products and services has been overwhelming. We are constantly in touch with our prospective and existing customers to understand their requirements to provide a customized ecosystem of products and services at site throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. Further we are investing in creating additional touch points providing deeper and wider coverage."
