Montra Electric, the electric vehicle brand of the Murugappa Group, will launch two new electric commercial vehicles at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. These include an electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) and the Electric three-wheeler Super Cargo, designed to improve mid-to-last-mile urban cargo solutions.

New Additions to the Fleet

The e-SCV is Montra Electric's first entry into the electric small commercial vehicle market. Developed with extensive research and testing at the Ponneri plant in Chennai, the e-SCV is built to cater to the evolving needs of the Indian logistics sector. The vehicle aims to deliver top performance, robust design, and durability to meet the demands of the market.

The Electric three-wheeler Super Cargo, ideal for fleet businesses and individual operators, is expected to provide operational cost advantages and better asset utilization. It builds on the success of Montra Electric's Super Auto, a three-wheeler that has sold over 8,000 units and established 85 showrooms across India.

Other Highlights

Montra Electric will also showcase the Rhino, India’s first electric heavy truck trailer, at the expo. The Rhino has already completed over 5 million kilometers in trials with various customers, setting a new standard in the heavy commercial vehicle segment.
