Key Highlights:
Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Division (MTB), a vital part of the Mahindra Group, has recently launched the Mahindra FURIO 8, its latest range of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). This new series is specially designed to meet the needs of various businesses and comes with a mileage guarantee. Customers can opt to return the vehicle if it does not deliver better fuel efficiency than their current LCV, making it a risk-free choice for fleet operators.
Two Cargo Variants
The Mahindra FURIO 8 is built at the Chakan plant in Maharashtra. It comes in two variants: a 4-tyre cargo truck and a 6-tyre cargo truck. Both models feature a wider loading area measuring 7 feet, which helps maximize cargo space. The 4-tyre variant comes with a 20-foot load body length, while the 6-tyre model offers a longer 22-foot cargo area, making it suitable for businesses with larger transport demands.
Powerful Engine with Advanced Fuel Efficiency
The FURIO 8 is powered by Mahindra’s mDi Tech engine, equipped with Dual Mode FuelSmart technology. This advanced engine system is designed to provide consistent mileage under different driving and load conditions. This will help businesses reduce fuel costs significantly. The technology automatically adjusts to optimize fuel consumption, whether the vehicle is running in city traffic or on highways.
Smart Features for Fleet Management
Mahindra has integrated its iMAXX telematics technology into the FURIO 8, giving fleet owners access to real-time tracking and vehicle health monitoring. This system also provides driver performance analytics, allowing businesses to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Strong After-Sales Service and Support
Mahindra stands behind the FURIO 8 with two important service guarantees. Firstly, the company promises a 36-hour workshop turnaround time for repairs; if this deadline is missed, customers receive ₹3,000 compensation for each additional day. Secondly, the breakdown recovery service guarantees assistance within 48 hours, or else ₹1,000 will be paid for every delayed day. This focus on quick service and minimal downtime reflects Mahindra’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
Reducing Costs and Increasing Profitability
The FURIO 8 is designed to help businesses reduce their total cost of ownership while maximizing profitability. With a wider load area, better fuel efficiency, and strong service guarantees, the vehicle aims to provide excellent value. Mahindra’s extensive nationwide network of over 400 service points ensures customers receive prompt support wherever they operate.
