Mahindra & Mahindra, one of India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, showcased solid sales performance in December 2024. The company reported an 8.87% year-on-year (YoY) growth in domestic sales, rising from 23,195 units in December 2023 to 25,252 units in December 2024. This growth highlights Mahindra’s commitment to innovation and its ability to address customer demands despite challenges in certain categories.

Sales in the LCV < 2T segment declined by 15%, with 2,409 units sold in December 2024 compared to 2,849 units in December 2023. This decline reflects challenges in this weight category.
This segment was a strong performer for Mahindra, achieving a 16% growth. Sales increased from 13,958 units in December 2023 to 16,139 units in December 2024, showing robust demand in this weight class.
Sales in the LCV > 3.5T + MHCV category dropped by 12%, with 954 units sold in December 2024, down from 1,081 units in December 2023.
The 3-wheeler segment, which includes electric vehicles, showed positive growth of 8%, with 5,750 units sold in December 2024 compared to 5,307 units in December 2023. This highlights the rising interest in eco-friendly mobility solutions.
