Force Motors Limited has reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising nearly 23% year-on-year. The commercial vehicle manufacturer also recorded healthy revenue growth during the quarter and completed the acquisition of Veera Tanneries Private Limited, making it a wholly owned subsidiary.

Force Motors Q1 FY27 Financial Performance

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Force Motors posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 216.59 crore, up 22.8% from Rs 176.36 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of FY26.

The company's revenue from operations increased 6.2% year-on-year to Rs 2,440.01 crore, compared to Rs 2,297.25 crore in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, total consolidated income rose to Rs 2,478.11 crore, up from Rs 2,322.31 crore in Q1 FY26.

Expenses Increase on Higher Input Costs

Force Motors' total expenses for the quarter stood at Rs 2,189.66 crore, compared to Rs 2,035.64 crore in the year-ago period.

The increase in expenses was mainly due to:

  • Raw material costs: Rs 1,749.03 crore

  • Employee benefit expenses: Rs 195.12 crore

Despite higher costs, the company maintained healthy profitability during the quarter.

Profit Before Tax Improves

The company's profit before tax (PBT) increased to Rs 293.29 crore, compared to Rs 277.71 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year, reflecting improved operational performance.

Standalone Performance

On a standalone basis, Force Motors reported:

  • Net Profit: Rs 212.07 crore

  • Revenue from Operations: Rs 2,439.89 crore

The standalone results also reflected steady business growth during the quarter.

Veera Tanneries Becomes Wholly Owned Subsidiary

During Q1 FY27, Force Motors completed the acquisition of the entire equity shareholding of Veera Tanneries Private Limited through a Share Purchase Agreement dated April 23, 2026.

Following the acquisition, Veera Tanneries became a wholly owned subsidiary of Force Motors, and its operational results have been included in the company's consolidated financial statements for the quarter.
