EKA, a leading electric mobility company, has appointed Sohel Merchant as its Chief Innovation Officer (CIO). Merchant brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, specializing in vehicle engineering and program management. 

His previous roles include positions at companies like Canoo Inc., Tesla, Faraday Future, and Ford. He co-founded Canoo and played a key role in designing electric platforms and vehicles for both commercial applications and government projects, including those for the US Department of Defense and NASA.
